         The apple is the pomacecus fruit of the apple tree. It is one of the most widely cultivated tree fruits. The tree is small, 3 to 12 meters tall. The flowers are white. They have five petals with 2.5 to 3.5 centimeters in diameter. The fruits is 5 to 9 centimeters in diameter. The apple tree comes from Central Asia. There are more than 7,500 know cultivars of apples.
       Research show that apples may reduce the risk of colon cancer, prostate cancer, and lung cancer. Apples contain relatively low amounts on Vitamin C as well as several other antioxidant compounds. The fiber content in apples may reduce the risk of colon cancer. They may also help coping with heart disease, weight loss, and controlling cholesterol. They are rich with caloric content like most fruits and vegetables.

Germinating Petunia Seeds

Follow these instructions to germinate petunia seeds

You will need :

·     a packet of petunia seeds,

·     a seed try or small pots,

·     loamy friable soil or potting mix,

·     water, and

·    fertilizer

instruction :

·     Fill seed tray with soil.

·     Incorporate fertilizer into soil

·     Scatter seeds on the surface of the soil.

·     Cover seeds with a 3 mm layer of soil. Press firmly.

·     Spray water to moisten the seed bed.

·     place seed tray warm, sunny position (at least 25*C)

·   keep soil moist by watering gently while seeds are germinating. Seeds will germinate in      approximately 10 – 14 days.
